We bought a boat with the ACR Electronic Link2AIS Nauticast-B AIS Class B Automatic system. We changed the boat name and went through all the appropriate channels to do that and even had the previous owner sign off the MMSI to us. The last hurdle we have is to change the name that is being broadcasted by our boat. We have an older Dell computer system which supports the boat's electronics and I have searched that computer for the Link2AIS software and can not find it anywhere. How do we change the name we are broadcasting? Thanks so much, Sarah

    Hi Dinko,
we have ensured a full compatibility between the old product and our "Class A AIS Transponder Solid" with all AIS Accessories in our portfolio. With respect to your Beacon question I assume you mean a differential GNSS solution.
To upgrade your current AIS to a combined AIS and D-GNSS system no changes to the actual AIS Installations are required (leave everything as it is…) it's just an Ethernet connection to the new system and you're fine. We recommend using the following parts:
    - your current AIS
    - the D-GNSS Set "R5 Supreme Navigation Solution (DGNSS or GNSS)"; Article number:
1st117001000670 including the "R4 D-GNSS Navigation sensor", "R5 NAV Junction Box" and the "DGNSS Antenna MGL-5"
    - to establish the connection use the "R5 Ethernet cable, 5 m"; Article number: 1st117000000525
The rest is done with SW-Configuration.
If you have further questions, please come back to us as well on [email protected]

    Dear All,
are your AIS products compatible with the old Nauticast A2? We plan to connect your Beacon Solution to it.

    Hi Eric,
we would recommend using our Alfatronix 24VDC with 168W minimum (to have some spare Watt you may go for the 240W version; look at
With that you can run your searchlight nicely.

    hope I'm right here ...
we've purchased the other day the 150W Xenon Searchlight with 24v from you. Now we need to connect it to a 230v power. What would you recommend?
