ZÖLLNER ZETFON 120/330K – Electronic Shiphorn (low tone) for Ship Class IV

    Product description

The ZÖLLNER ZETFON 120/330K – Electronic Shiphorn is type approved for marine use (ship classification IV) and produces a powerful horn (low tone) for vessels up to 20 meters in length. The ZETFON 120/330K is a robust electrically operated whistle which is equally suitable for all types of inland and maritime navigation.

The ZETFON 120/330K consists of the following components:

    • ship horn unit (ZETFON 70s)
    • control unit (ZETFON ZP-8)
    • built in key (ZETFON 4676)

    Sound of the ship's horn

    Advantages

    • decades of experience
    • best material and workmanship - made in Germany
    • control and amplifier unit provided with reverse polarity protection of supply voltage
    • low power consumption of 100 W
    • easy installation
    • the whole system runs on 24 VDC

    Sound Characteristics

    • signals with strong overtones for best penetration of background noise level
Even when a background noise covers the actual basic frequency the residual tone forms a base frequency in the human hearing. Two or three harmonics are sufficient for the hearing to perceive the basic frequency.
    • sound frequency of 330 Hz very advantageously ranks in the lower admissible range (250-700 Hz)

    Construction

    • full compliance with the COLREGS 1972
    • type approved by all well known international authorities, certificates by the classification societies on request
    • usage
      • vessels of less than 20 m in length
      • land alarm, i.e. bunker stations, oil refineries, airports, powerplants, factories
    • system voltage: 12 VDC or 24 VDC
    • entirely made of best non-corrosion, seawater resistant materials (no plastic)
